Security Projects

Telelink usually organize its activities in a project with dedicated team in order to assure successful integration of customer request/order. The number of activities and services, and the number of the dedicated team may vary depending on customer needs, solution and budget. We are flexible and ready to fit customer atmosphere in order to have smooth integration of the technical solution and achieving customer expectations.

When we speak for security project we envision an implementation of solution that aims to increase the security in an organization. For example an implementation of Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM) is a security project from our perspective. Of course each vulnerability assessment, security audit or penetration test service that we provide will be enveloped and delivered as a project as well but we tend to classify those as special cases of security projects and don’t refer to them here.

Telelink is aiming to provide all services in accordance with the highest standards of professional competence and integrity. In order to achieve that every service shall follow Telelink best practices and process which have been proven through the years of experience. Each service may include document or procedure creation in advance in order to have better preparation and clearer customer visibility of what steps are planned to follow in technical aspect.

The turn-key project can include the following services or only part of them:

Planning Phase

The planning phase with our customers starts way before ordering – during pre-sales phase. When preparing the proposal (technical and financial) we are trying to include technical experts and project management teams in order to plan and propose the best fitting solution to customer.

Projects usually start with kick-off meeting to introduce the members of the project team and customer and define their roles. It may include definition how thorough the project shall be done communication, reporting and other components of project management.

Project Management

The Project Management Services are to ensure that the project outcome is matching the requirements as set in the agreement/order. These services are related to the planning, execution management, monitoring, control and reporting in an integrated way of the processes related to the scope, quality, timing and schedules, risks, human resources, costs and communications in the project.

The particular project may have dedicated technical experts which may vary depending on project scale and needs. They will assure and control all technical aspects of the project and the teams working.

Readiness Assessment

Readiness Assessment process aims to check if customer’s existing network and/or infrastructure is ready to start the project integration and/or gather more information, if needed. It can be related to physical, network or security readiness relevant to the particular solution and/or customer site.


Design Phase

Security Policies and Procedures Development

If developing or consulting the creation or re-design of Security Policies and Procedures is including in the project scope we will include a specialist in such topics and with expertise into ISO 27001, ISO 20000. We could read and comment the existing security policies, or facilitate an internal for your organization process of creation/re-design of existing security policies, or facilitate and write the policies on your behalf.  No matter what is the approach that you choose you should bare in mind that this process will require deep involvement from your side.

Design Development

If developing a design is part of the project we will include a detailed description of customer particular solution, created and tailored specially for the customer, with specific components and how they interact to create a complete solution. Before starting design elaboration the customer may participate by confirming all requirements and define the final parameters of the needed solution. The design will be written by a team of experienced experts, taking into account the customer’s specific business and technical requirements, and information provided during the working meetings and subsequent design reviews. Usually the design is documented and approved by the customer before continuing with the next activities in project integration.

Proof of Concept/Design Test

Telelink may perform tests to prove specific parts of design functionalities and check if it complies with the customer requirements. These tests shall be performed using similar equipment sufficient enough to simulate those specific components of the real environment in Telelink Laboratory with authorized representative from customer.

Vulnerability Assessment

If this is required in the project we could conduct a vulnerability assessment prior the implementation of the project and after the implementation of the project to prove its purpose.


Integration Phase

Physical installation and commissioning

Telelink may perform physical installation of the equipment, cabling and connecting it, as specified in the design documents, vendor best practices and customer requirements.

Telelink may configure the equipment in advance or on-site following preliminary prepared schedule by all concerned sides.

If developing design is not part of the customer project and he has already design in place, Telelink shall follow customer templates and guidance and shall implement them on the new equipment delivered.

Acceptance Tests

Depending on the particular solution and project can be planned and performed different number of tests in order to verify that installation is proper and/or the solution has all the needed functionalities after its integration. The tests may be performed in front of authorized customer representative depending on customer request.


Part of the scope of the project can be migration from old/obsolete equipment to newer one and/or from one technology to another. In this case Telelink shall prepare and/or document Migration procedure in which shall plan step by step what activates shall be performed during migration/s in order to assure customer minimal outage.

As-built Documentation

After successful completion of the project Telelink can update the relevant documentation included in the project according to the actual installation and/or integration of the solution. These can be included in the scope by customer request in order to use this documentation for future customer operations of the technical solution integrated.

Training of personnel 

Telelink is not certified agency to perform professional trainings but in scope of the project can be included training of customer personnel which shall be responsible of the integrated solution operation. The training may include overview of the technologies used, equipment introduction and some practical aspects following the design used.

Telelink may also be mediator and organizer of profession training as we have built network of trusted partners certified.
